Modem Speed using Fax Server vb.net

[FaxServer Modem Speed]

Is there a suggested modem speed for using FaxServer? I am having problem
receiving a fax on a windows xp pc. I can send faxes no problems. It seems to
be a bit better when I lower the speed.

Any comments, suggestions?

lower the speed to what?
Are you talking about the P/C to modem speed, or the fax modem to fax modem
speed?

There was an old time registry patch, no longer applicable, that increased
the between character times.
This seemed to help slower modems reduce data errors.
