I have just built a new PC with a Gigabyte mother board (MA770T-UD3P) and a
64 bit quad processor ( AMD Phenom II ).I installed XP PRO X64 without
trouble. It connected itself to the local network ok.The print test to the
network printer(Epson PHOTO R320 )worked ok but when I tried to print photos
with Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 or Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 or X3 the
programs stopped responding.Notepad ,WordPad , Paint and Windows Print Wizard
work fine.It seems that programs that came with the operating system are ok
but installed programs do not run even though they are supposed to be X64 and
are in the (X86) Prog Lib. I am not happy as I built this Pc for photo and
video processing. Does anyone have a fix .Don't tell me to spent a £100 on
Windows 7 I tried the pre release and did not like it.
